College Information
1)
Mount Saint Mary's College (NY) will be hosting an instant decision day at the Huntington Hilton Hotel located at 598 Broad Hollow Road, Melville, NY 11747 on Tuesday, March 9 from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM. Students planning to attend this program must bring a copy of their official transcript with them, so it is VERY IMPORTANT that you tell the College Placement Office you are planning to attend this event by this afternoon, or at the latest, tomorrow morning so we can get the transcript ready for you to bring on Thursday night. You must also RSVP to Mount St. Mary's by visiting their website.

The College of St. Rose will be hosting an event for all accepted students on Sunday, February 28th at 6:00 PM at the Long Island Marriott Hotel located at 101 James Doolittle Boulevard, Uniondale 11553. This will provide an opportunity for accepted students to meet Saint Rose students and faculty. There will be light refreshments followed by a brief presentation.
3)
All students who applied to Molloy College: There is a community service scholarship that you can apply for. This scholarship is due March 1st and does not require any paperwork from the College Placement Office. If you have community service, you should send your application directly to Molloy by Monday.

Scholarship Information
1)
The Stephen K. Tompsett Memorial Fund for Technology in Education offers a scholarship for students who are residents of Garden City and is an award for excellence in math, science or technology. Interested students should access the application at the fund's website.
2)
The Sister Mary Grace Memorial Scholarship is available to students with financial need who are interested in pursuing a career in Health Care. Please see Mrs. McCarthy in College Placement for a copy of the application if you are interested.
3)
Bethpage Federal Credit Union Foundation offers a scholarship to students who: either belong to the credit union or have a family member who belongs to the credit union; have at least an 85 average; and, have community involvement and/or work. Please see Mrs. McCarthy in College Placement for a copy of the application if you are interested.
4)
Northrop Grumman offers a scholarship for students who plan to be engineering majors and have a minimum SAT score of 1900 (700 Math, 600 Critical Reading, 600 Writing). Please see Mrs. McCarthy in College Placement for a copy of the application if you are interested.
5)
There is a scholarship available for any student who has applied to Island Drafting & Technical Institute. Please see Miss Ronan in College Placement if you are interested.
6)
The Summer Hope Foundation offers a scholarship for students whose families have been personally touched by cancer. Please see Mrs. McCarthy in College Placement for a copy of the application if you are interested.
