Kellenberg Memorial High School

Kellenberg Memorial High School introduced a program in May, 2010 to provide parents a convenient and secure online pre-payment service for the school cafeteria. It is our hope that through use of this program: lunch lines will move along much faster giving your child more time to eat and be with friends; parents will have a means of seeing what is being purchased in the cafeteria; and, there will be many fewer occasions of students losing money in school.

Students using this program pay for their cafeteria purchases using their current Student ID (Library) Card. The student simply scans his or her photo ID card at the time of purchase and the cost of the food is automatically deducted from their account.

Deposits to your child's account may be made now. If you choose to use this service, students will be able to pay for their purchases using their ID card. Please ensure that you have funded the account 2 business days prior to the student using the ID card to make purchases.

Things to Know

If you have more than one child in the school, you can handle all online prepayments from the same online account.
(Please note: If you have used your email address in the NutriKids program with any family member at a different school (local school district, Chaminade, etc.) you cannot use that email address for NutriKids at Kellenberg Memorial. This is due to a NutriKids software limitation. To participate in the NutriKids program, you must use an address different from that original address.)
Payments may be made through an existing PayPal account or with a major credit or debit card. (Please be aware that PayPal payments that draw funds from a checking account - instead of a credit card - could take two extra days to pocess.)
Please allow a minimum of 2 business days for Credit Card payments to processed and available in the Cafeteria.  Payments are not immedialty available on the students ID card the moment the credit card is processed.
If a student has lost his or her Student ID Card, a replacement will be issued at no charge once funds have been deposited to the account and a request for the replacement card has been made to the Library.
In order to use the online prepayment service, a small convenience fee for each transaction will be assessed to cover the bank fees. The convenience fee is $1.75 per deposit transaction. Parents placing money into multiple meal accounts will only be assessed the $1.75 fee once per deposit transaction.
Any money left in a student's account at the end of the school year is automatically carried over to the next school year. Unused monies when a student leaves Kellenberg Memorial will not be refundable or transferable.

We are very excited to offer these services, however, if you choose not to take advantage of the online prepayment service, students will still be able to pay cash for their cafeteria purchases

GETTING STARTED

  Register to use MyNutrikids.com
1.
You will first need your child's student ID number, which appears on the student's report card, and the school's zipcode, which is 11553.
2.
Start your web browser and go to http://www.MyNutrikids.com/ - the Nutrikids web site for parents.
3.
Click Sign Up and enter the required information.
4.
Click Finish to complete the initial registration process.

  Add Students to Your Family Account
1.
Log in and you will be directed to the homepage.
2.
Click MyKids from the main menu OR from the blue navigation bar at the top of the screen.
3.
This is a listing of the students in your account. It will be empty on your first visit to the site.

Click Add Child and enter the required information.
5.
Click Add (next to your child's name) to continue.
6.
Click Add Child to repeat the process for additional children.
Please note that your child's transaction history report will not display any information during the initial account set up process.

  Make a Deposit To Your Child's Account
1.
Click Deposit Money located next to Add Student.
2.
Enter an amount in the Deposit column next to your child's name. If you have more than one child, enter the amount you wish to deposit into the column next to each child's name.
3.
Click Calculate.
4.
Click Make Deposit.
5.
You will be directed to a secure payment page to select your payment option. You can use an existing PayPal account or a major credit card to make your payment. Select your method of payment.
If you are using your PayPal account, enter your email address and PayPal password to continue. Proceed as you would with any other payment through PayPal.
If you are using a credit card, enter the required information. For your protection, Nutrikids does not store any of your financial information.
6.
Click Pay Now when finished
7.
Click Pay once again to finish the process.

  Accessing Your Child's Account
1.
Start your web browser and go to http://www.MyNutrikids.com/ - the Nutrikids web site for parents.
2.
Log into your account using the login (your email address) and password established during the initial registration.
3.
You can: add money to the account; view the transaction history and see the items purchased on a daily basis; set low-balance alerts to automatically email you if the amount left in the account reaches a threshold amount you have set; and, add or remove children from your account.


This system is in place in many schools across the country and is well proven. As with any system, there is, however, a learning curve for all involved - students, parents and staff.
